Once it came through I had to click on the link which I then had to type in my card details ( Twice) By this time I felt like I wanted to hit my head against the wall as it was close to 2 hours on the phone. Paid that over the phone which again was a nightmere due to then trying to send me a text message with a link which didn't come through until 12 and a half minutes later ( I was hanging on the phone waiting). So I said now your telling me I need to pay you another £42.00 just to get my connected back to pay monthly? She said yes. Being on the phone for almost 1 hour and 34 minutes at this time. I asked why have Vodaphone charged me another months when they switched me to pay as you go 1? The advisor said it is because you are still in contract and that doesn't run out till October 2024. So I again had to borrow more money of someone to pay of another £42.00 for my device plan. You can imagine how shocked I felt when I heard this after paying almost £200. But yet to hear that I still owe another £42.00 of my Device plan before the 14th May 2023. So after talking on the phone for just over an hour someone lent me the money so I can pay for the un paid air time plan and get my connected back to pay monthly. Finding that money when you are not working is not an easy thing. I continued to explain what and why I was not noticing I owe anything yet to find I had a bill of £187.04.

I became very frustrated as I am speaking plain English, so why don't they understand what you are saying. Spoke to someone today over the phone explaining this situation when this lady did not understand what I was talking about. So then yes of course you walk away knowing you have paid your bill. And nothing has ever shown on my app account that I still owe an outstanding amount. I always have gone back in to my app checking to make sure that the payment has gone though after 48 hours.

The first person I spoke to said it is because you were only paying for the Device Plan and not for the Air time plan. So I called he customer service department which are again usless asking them what and why have you done this. I then got switched over from pay monthly to pay as you go 1 a few days ago not knowing why. Now again, Vodaphone needs to correct this as I am far from the only one who has complained about this issue. No where does it state on the app that there is an unbalance payment that needs to be paid. The air time and device plan are completely separate and when you pay for the device plan you need to go back in and pay of the air plan. Vodaphone have had customers calling in complaining that they have been sent notifications due to not paying the Air time bills. I will try and keep this short but not sweet.

In all the years I have been with other mobile phone companies, Vodaphone is way beyond bad. If you actually want service go to Sky.īeyond usless. So if you want minimal customer service, to be gaslighted, and have Internet speeds from the 90s choose Vodafone. Basically their own in-house policies won't let them spend the money and send out an engineer BUT will take your money for a sub standard service. The test socket which Sky did not use and managed to send out an engineer. They called me to explain basically how they are right and I should of used the test socket. Basically what's your problem? My problem I complained and you ignored me and continued to take my money for a service which was let's face it mobile phone 4g level. Their answer you have had 15% discount for slow speeds. I transfered to Sky within a week they saw my low upload speeds and sent out a BT engineer who found the box on the pole had corroded parts, my Internet is now 40mb upload speed. On two occasions when enough was enough my broadband went down and I requested for an engineer to come out I was ignored. My broadband would also cut out in heavy rain.

I have had 3mb download speeds for months. Vodafone choses gaslighting as a customer service policy
